Welcome, and thank you for having a look at my photographic art. I was born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1977, and it´s in this small country by the Atlantic Ocean that I make most of my images. Photography entered my life when I felt the need to register what I experienced in my walks in Nature, so I could bring home and show to friends and family, and through this website I share them with you! I have always had a strong connection with Nature. There´s a special bond that becomes clear once we walk through a forest, beside the ocean, or in a mountain landscape! For me is always a return home! We live such busy lives, so immersed in this industrialized world of manufactured gratification that the wilderness experience becomes even more important to balance our lives. There is a special freedom that arises when we are in Nature! I return to experience something greater than myself, and I hope that my images can inspire you to do the same! Rests in our hands the faith of all that surrounds us! Our mountain and rivers, forests and oceans, and all that live in them are in urgent need for protection, and most of all respect!
