The Uprooted Photographer' has its origins in my wife and myself moving from PA to NC. One week we were comfortably planted in Indiana, PA and the next we were uprooted and moving to New Bern, NC. In the whirlwind of events that followed, I created a blog titled 'The Uprooted Photographer.' Originally, it was just to keep friends and family informed of what is going on in our lives. But as I met more and more people it eventually became my artistic alias. So much so, that I merged a previous business venture into the Uprooted Photographer name. I hope you enjoy my work and stay in touch as I continue to grow and learn as an artist here in eastern North Carolina.

I specialize in fine art, landscape and commercial photography. Beach scenes, sunrises and sunsets are my favorite subjects. I love to travel and always have my camera at hand!
