First camera was a Kodak Instamatic, one of those that used disposable flash cubes. As a kid, lusted after whatever complicated-looking camera Dad would use for family outings. Got older, lusted after the very cool Olympus Pen-F half-frame or Pentax SLR some high school classmates were using. Finally bought my own Olympus OM-1N after university, and even learned rudimentary black-and-white film processing and printing. Digital age saw me briefly flirting with point-and-shoot Canons, but have now returned to my Olympus roots, shooting with an E-P1 and ever lusting for newer models.
