To crop or not to crop

Published September 19th, 2011

Sometimes I can never decide whether an image should be cropped or not. I don't like to crop as a rule - I like to compose in camera and do little post processing - although there are times when it has its place (like when I mess up my framing). Too many social networks too little time: 500px...

Published September 14th, 2011

I joined 500px and Google Plus at roughly the same time, about a week ago. After struggling to update my digital archive [blogged about here: https://plus.google.com/104938275395746102196/posts] I thought maybe I should just concentrate on posting in one place ..... I don't know if there is enough of me to go around all my current photo sharing sites: Posterous Spaces, Flickr, 500px and now G+ (incidentally i never share photos on FaceBook). What can one do? What photographic workflow do you use, if any, when engaging with different social photo sharing sites?

BTW I'd be happy to send anyone an invite to G+ should they want to join. Just ping me a PM with your email in it.
