I'm a longtime nature & wildlife photographer, writer, and teacher living in Val Marie, Saskatchewan, on the edge of spectacular Grasslands National Park. Thousands of published photos in books, calendars, and magazines; was photo columnist for Explore magazine (1988-2000) and taught at the Western Academy of Photography in Victoria, British Columbia (also 1988-2000). Principal photographer for Candace Savage's award winning Prairie: A Natural History (Greystone Books, Vancouver, BC, 2004); author of Wild Prairie: A Photographer's Personal Journey (Greystone Books, Vancouver, BC, 2005). Currently I run photo workshops in some of western Canada's finest prairie locations.
