a simple guy with a camera who listens to earth's whispers... My journey into photography began with love. I shared many years with a great dog, Spark, and we hiked many miles in the woods, in the mountains and along the ocean. In 1997, I purchased my first Nikon SLR to document our friendship – just snapshots of the times we shared. And the seed was sown. What once was a means of preserving and sharing memories became a passion and an obsession of persistence, craft and art. I have a degree in Landscape Architecture from West Virginia University and have practiced this profession for over twenty five years. As a designer, photographer and naturalist, I find inspiration and 'magic' everywhere – from the wanderings of the tiniest insect to the complexity of balanced ecosystems and the built environment. My work has been published in numerous magazines, brochures and has appeared on various photographic websites. Clients include Apple Inc. I hope you find my love of our amazing home evident in this ever-growing body of work. In addition to offering the photographs featured on this site; I am available for a variety of assignments and provide professional photographic services for weddings, events, family/pet portraits, real estate and other photo documentation.
