Suramadu bridge, also known as Surabaya - Madura bridge is a 5,4 km bridge connected Surabaya in Java island with Madura island. The bridge is constructed with three section, the main section is 808 m cablestay constructed and the 2 approach bridge is girder with several long span. Nowly, this the longest bridge in Indonesia.

In my business trip to Surabaya, I plan to photograph this bridge. The first plan I will photograph this bridge in the afternoon. But the meetings completed at late night, so I must changed the plan. I started the shooting at 12 o'clock at night.
Armed with a tip from a friend, Frieda and Google Maps I found the shooting location with a view that is quite charming seafront.
Travel to the location it is truly an unforgettable journey. Cars can only parked over 800 m by the sea and I had to start walking with a backpack and carrying a camera tripod. Trip gain weight over the fish ponds that dry as the tide is low and the ground to mud. In the dark of night we were accompanied by a fisherman who graciously led us to the shores of the sea.
And when we start shooting really disappointed because the thick fog covered view of the bridge and so my lens covered the morning dew. So we waited a while until the fog is gone. I remove the UV filter on the lens is exposed to the morning dew.
And here's some photos of the Suramadu bridge from Tambak Wedi Surabaya. On another occasion to Surabaya I will take pictures from Kenjeran side or from the Madura.
