Thank you for your attention all my friends from 500PX. I’m currently working as a professional accountant and one of my favorite hobby is photography. Since high school I like to go hunting photos and started getting serious on 2005 where the digital era of camera is rising in popularity. In 2007 I specialized in bird photography and it turns out that it is so hard to find a bird as an object in the metropolitan city of Jakarta, where trees has changed to concrete. I finally met Octavianus Darmawan who is also a photographer who specialized in bird photography and doesn’t take any pictures other than birds. He told me the places and location where there is still a lot of birds in Jakarta, Indonesia. Day by day, I was searching for birds to be my object, in my spare time while I was busy with my job. I started learning about the life of these birds, from they started to make the nest until its done, I know it so well because I follow their progress. Those birds make their nests for two weeks and then lay their eggs and incubates them. These birds also fix their nests to perfection until the egg hatches. In those two weeks the mother bird diligently look for food to feed their babies and clean the nests. After another two weeks (for king fisher it was 3 until 4 weeks until their babies are ready to get out of the cage) the baby birds get out from the nest. In this time I started to take pictures of these birds because for two days those baby birds has to strengthen their wings to start flying across the big bad world.
