The earth without art is just eh! Like my facebook page to follow my journey and please share my images on Facebook with your friends. All prints are available from high resolution images. Lots of my images are over 4500px wide, some as wide as 6000. So the quality on the final print is beautiful. https://www.facebook.com/ktallenphotography
Here is my first dSLR, the Canon 550D

Beginning the Journey

Published February 29th, 2012

March 2011, this was when I made a choice to start my photography journey. I bought a standard dSLR Canon and started to look at how to use a dSLR.

Previously I had completed my 1st Class BSc Internet Systems Development and worked as a web developer. Then my daughter Jazz who was 13 years old at the time had to stop school due to three emergency major operations that was required, with a long recovery ahead of her. So I finished work to look after her full-time. Day after day, week after week, she spent a lot of time in bed, so I started photography to fill my time.

Jazz is about 50% better now and back at school and I have choosen to continue my photography journey as a full-time hobby. I'm almost a year down the line now and looking forward to the next year ahead as I now have more freedom to wander with my camera in hand.
