April 2011, this was when I made a choice to start my photography journey. I bought a standard dSLR Canon and started to look at how to use a dSLR.
Previously I had completed my 1st Class BSc Internet Systems Development and worked as a web developer. Then my daughter Jazz who was 13 years old at the time had to stop school due to three emergency major operations that was required, with a long recovery ahead of her. So I finished work to look after her full-time. Day after day, week after week, she spent a lot of time in bed, so I started photography to fill my time.
Jazz is about 50% better now and back at school and I have choosen to continue my photography journey as a full-time hobby. I'm almost a year down the line now and looking forward to the next year ahead as I now have more freedom to wander with my camera in hand.
