Seven Peaks Photography takes its name from the seven peaks, or morros, that serve as geographical landmarks to the San Luis Obispo, California region. Some say there are nine morros and some say there are eleven morros, which is probably true, but these seven are recognized by all - Cerro San Luis, Bishop Peak, Chumash Peak, Cerro Romualdo, Hollister Peak, Cerro Cabrillo and Morro Rock.
My name is Duane Hall. Under my "Seven Peaks" name I primarily focus on capturing the personal images of individuals, families and other groups of people on-location using natural light whenever possible (though I enjoy experimenting with studio work). My personal taste leans towards black and white fine art images, but I also enjoy color as well. In addition, I do all of my own printing on a wide-format (44" max) printer that can also serve as a bar, in a pinch!
For 500px.com, I am showing different personal projects that I have done, such as my Faces of the Harvest gallery and Joshua Tree work. More will be added as I go forward.
