Carman God with me

I think I start my passion in photography in 2012 because I had boought my i phone 4 in that year. Due to my circumstances changed, I took 5 hours travelling return from my house to Oxford every time. During my journey, I had much time to admire the scenery out of the bus & passed by Oxford city centre & took shots everywhere . Actually, I really enjoy on the bus shooting & taking street shots :-)

At the beginning 2015, I have received a DSRL as a birthday gift from my brother. I start to some shots that i phone camera could not do well , such as macro shot. During spring time , many flowers blossom , I feel amazing in the macro world though I don't have a macro lens or any extra lens.

I remember my friend who told me, it really doesn't matter what camera you used, but the " eyes " you have. I not really agree with him at that time. Later on ....I understand that even I use a i phone camera, if i got the " soul " , the viewers could feel and admire it.

I think if a good photo is determined by what details it has , I will doubt that is it true ?

For me, a good photo which has its "soul " , or in the other word, a good photo should make the viewers touching !

If I ask myself , I think I love the nature , especially the trees, leaves, water reflection.... landscape. On the other hand, I love the B&W shots, some street shots, playing light & shadow ....
may be the B&W shot could express very well the contrast of the feeling .

During the shooting , I think I am searching a feeling ( or a soul) or the feeling from the objects give me. I agree that there should be a process of interaction during the environment & my heart .
That's why somebody said what your photos showed that means what you are.

Some people said photography expresses a piece of the heart of the photographer. I agree that , every photo may reflect a part of the photographer's thinking or feeling, but may not represent all the photographer's thought.

Photography is really look like a journey , everyone looks like searching a treasure with their different ways. I would like to have mates to share, encourage & support.

Sometimes I will ask a question , what am I looking for in this journey ? A beauty ? A moment ? A feeling ? A thought ?
I know it is a big question..... Actually , differernt photos may have different purposes, no one absolute answer.
Some may show a beauty of a flower, landscape , some may discovering human nature in the street ......
All these involving the beauty & kind .... I think.

As I am a christain , I agree that the photos should be reflect the glory of God because all nature , beings come from God :-)
