I grew up in a very small but a very well planned town of India called ‘Chandigarh’. Like a palette of colors I have my tints and shades. Creative and always kept looking for things which intrigued me. Graduated in Interior Design and moved to Kolkata in 2009 which was the first reason to be able to choose “What is that I would love and want to do?”.

Travelling & Photography came to me when I had no friends and acquaintances in a new city (Kolkata). It became my first friend and now a lifelong companion. Being chirpy by nature, I enjoy how my photographs can talk more than me…saves my energy you see. The desire to learn more and do more has kept this flame burning strong and a whole new world was discovered.

Diverse in my choices, I would wonder is there anything which I desire to do so strongly that nothing else would matter. For me that did not happen for the major part of my life so far until I fell in love. I had my teething problems and I think it is a non-stop learning experience. My shutter asks for more and more..guess its hungry most of the time. This makes me travel, connect, meet, engage, understand and witness various cultures, races, languages, food & festivals.

Sharing some of mine with you!

My last project was on "Facades and More..."

When I walk out of my house I always think that we spend most of our lives in buildings, from work to home to leisure to pleasure. How many a times we stop by and appreciate the mere appearance of them? The ones which are inviting and even the ones which are not so inviting to us. Life takes place around them. Our first house, my favourite coffee shop, our kids school and many more facades which become sometimes noticed and some unnoticed memories. I planned to capture those and the life which happens around them.
