Peter Sanner

Brooklyn born and raised photographer. I love to photograph landscapes and cityscapes as well as doing portrait work. My goal is to create timeless moments and not just capture moments in time.

When I work on landscapes and cityscapes or anything in nature it's all about feeling. Looking for an angle that may not be the right one but just feels right. By looking through the viewfinder on my camera I have learned to look at life a little differently. Now instead of just walking by and not paying attention most times I try and take in as much of a scene as possible. There is a relaxing feeling that comes from doing this type of work. Even in the hustle and bustle of living in New York you can find a space in time where nothing exists but you and the camera.

When I am doing my portrait and headshot work I have a simple philosophy. I shoot till not only my client is happy but I am happy as well. I don't always stick to a scripted outline of what a shoot is supposed to have. I like to talk to my clients before we shoot that way I can get a better understanding of what they want and what they need. It's about working in harmony with the camera and the client. If you tell me about yourself I can use the camera to bring out the person that you want to see.

I hope that you like the images that I am producing and hopefully we can work together and get you looking your best and produce a great time and great images.
