Grand Canyon: The West Rim

Published April 2nd, 2012

Visited the Grand Canyon after completion of a design competition in the US and once again ended up at photographer's paradise without proper photography equipment. I improvised with my Nokia C6-00 cameraphone and my sister's iPhone, capturing up to 16 images to equal the depth required to create some of the elements of this story.

The Colorado River running under the Canyon

Another composition, this time of portrait frames and extending the sky a bit more than the actual to fit two-third.

Taken on a trip to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon, Arizona. Basically a composition of 6 photographs, all taken on a C6-00 mobile camera.

Dawn in Hualapai Country

A vagrant photograph, take from a moving bus. The motion blur was nicely cancelled by the contrast caused by the peeping sun rays.

The Eagle Point

A massive composition; the first time I've stitched 16 images to obtain the final panoramic view. The Eagle Rock is seen in this composition.
