Around The World In A Lifetime.

Published January 26th, 2013

Traveling is something I have always done from a young age and something that has become somewhat second nature to me. I love to travel, whether it's on a plane, car, boat, or dare I say it, train. Even going 30 miles away to a new piece of land to look at, experience, and shoot satisfies my traveling hunger momentarily. This post isn't about where I traveled, or that Ive traveled, its about the joy of traveling, the joy of getting out of your element, the joy of experiencing new things and in some instances, taking risks. I couldn't imagine a life without traveling or new experiences, in my own backyard and across the country. I am so thankful for the experiences I have had and the lands I have been fortunate to travel to like, New York City, Los Angeles, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, Boston, Mackinac, the field down the street, downtown Jacksonville (My current residential town) The outskirts of tiny DeLand, Random gatherings of trees some call woods, My front yard, and I could go on all day. What I'm getting at here is that traveling doesn't mean going to exotic lands, even though they are appealing and I plan to visit them all, you can have a new experience anywhere you go, its all about perpective and your view on the situation. Combine your matureness with your inner imaginative child and go into the world with the people you love and enjoy it before it changes, because then you can enjoy it all over again. I'm going to Alaska this summer and I cannot wait, so until then I will keep traveling minutes away from my current location just to have a new experience, a new memory, and a new story to tell later on down the road. Maybe I will post some backstory to some of these photos laters on but maybe I will keep that between me, myself, my best friend Justin Evans who is always with me on photo missions, my Girlfriend Caitlin who is usually the willing subject, and of course my parents and two sisters who I usually travel with the most. -ADL
