Amir Djalovski was born in 1986 in the small village of Kamon in the Lower Galilee, Israel. From a young age Djalovski showed a keen interested in art; he began playing the piano at the age of 6 and soon experimented with other musical instruments including: saxophone, trumpet and guitar.
He began developing his interest in photography from his early teens but it was not until the age of 17 that he received his first camera. Soon Djalovski took his camera everywhere. Over the years he took tens-of-thousands of photographs of landscapes surrounding him and his close friends. With an enormous appetite to balance composition and sense of mystery, Djalovski captures with his camera eternal moments.
His interest such as city-scapes, condensed with the light and vitality of the urban texture, as well as the focal landscape of the Israeli deserts and water sources. Today, Djalovski travels the world capturing with his lens the city-scapes of large metropolises such as San-Francisco, New York City as well as the lingering look in the eyes of children in rural far-eastern villages. Djalovski tries to see the beauty around him everywhere he goes and to transfer the motive impact of beautiful sites have on him to the viewers and collectors of his photographs.
