"Sometimes creating an illusion is the shortest path to truth" Anon

I am based in Dubai, and hold a regular job. In the evenings they sometimes find me wandering aimlessly in the side streets with a 70-200 VR 2.8 for company. And I believe in the illusions that a tiny chip inside my D300 can create.

Photography has been a hobby for many years, and a passion in more recent ones. Colleagues and friends have started suspecting that it’s more than a mid life crisis, perhaps.

After clicking zillions of photographs (many of which were in focus), and having been through the normal evolution curve of posting those pictures on Picasa/ FB and Flickr, this sight’s blurb convinced me that this is the next step in the food chain. And I guess its time to stop pestering sundry friends/passerbys/ rank strangers to press the “like” button.

But seriously, photography and travelling are getting closer to my heart than I would have imagined, and I am hoping to find inspiration/critique/friendship through my work and a blog...the overall quality of photographs posted here is simply awesome.

Thus I have a favor to ask….. If any of images at this blog, or in the galleries particularly strike you as either excellent or “what the heck were you thinking?” please leave a comment. I am more actively engaged through my blog - http://openframe.co/blog/
