I am a professional wildlife and natural history photographer operating throughout Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire. My passion for photography developed while I was at University studying an undergraduate course – BSc Environmental Science, where through access to courses and equipment at the University of Nottingham I managed to develop my skills and interest, while allowing me to be outside and collaborate knowledge from my course at the time with photography.
Since picking up a camera several years ago I have travelled to Uganda to produce a book on chimpanzees titled Our Closest Relative – The Chimpanzee, the book shares information about the chimpanzees and their relationships and likeness to humans. The similarities between man and animals especially primates is something that makes me constantly curious, as well as the opportunity to travel to unique and wild locations to document the environment that surrounds us, wether it is 5mm big or over 5m tall.
On my website is a wide array of images I have taken, from landscapes in South America to wildlife you could find in your back garden, all of which are available for purchase in both print and digital form. Please note all images are copyright and are unable to give images away for free as it is how I make a living.
