Interviewed by Mamiya for the US blog website

Published May 22nd, 2011

I've been shooting Mamiya cameras since about 1988, when I first used a C33 at art college. It was therefore something of a dream-come-true to be interviewed by the company for their US blog website.

Agreed on all 4. I posted a note in the help section about the lack of html. Stupid in this day and age. We'll see what comes of being here. It's got a lot going for it. Let's hope they listen to what users have to say and improve, cos I think it has something.

Needless to say, congrats on the feature...
Regarding this place (500px) I don't dislike it yet. In fact there are a lot of things I like about this place, but there are a few things that really put me off...
1) WAY too many pictures of nudes...
2) most people here seem to be just fishing for compliments and those who delivers them write very succinct comments...
3) all links are stripped out from the body of photo descriptions and blog posts
4) last but not the least the name... 500px??? What is that supposed to mean?
