My Interest in photography only started early in 2011 during this short time I have tried landscape and seascape photography which I have thoroughly enjoyed. Visiting various locations around our stunning coastline has provided lots of interesting shoots. I love shooting seascapes with its constantly changing light creating dramatic views across our rugged coastlines, it’s surprising how the light & weather can change a view from a calm tranquil setting to a scene of danger with high seas crashing over the rocks overlooked by stormy skies.
Its taken a while to fully understand all the manual controls on my camera but what a difference when you take control away from the auto mode. Going manual gives you lots more flexibility and allows you to be very creative in how you capture the moment through the lens.
Long exposure photography is one of my favourite forms of photography and can be tricky to master but well worth the steep learning curve. Taking the camera out at night or under low lighting conditions can produce some stunning images. Cameras are better equipped for seeing colours at night than our own eyes are so why not have ago you don’t need much additional kit just a sturdy tripod and a remote shutter trigger will be sufficient to get you started.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy the images.
