Astaroth (O.R.G.) is the artistic pseudonym of a Spanish photographer who was born Madrid in 1983. He lived in the mythical Spanish city of Alcalá de Henares since then, city with a very rich history and where nature has a great relevance (rounded by a large natural environment). A perfect scenery for photography.
He studied theoretical physics in Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), where he fallen in love of optics.
In his last stage in the college he became in an amateur and autodidact photographer. He bought his first reflex camera (a Nikon D3000) in December 2009 and he learned photography by himself, reading books and webs about this art.
As soon he increased his photographic gear and knowledges, he added new styles and techniques at his portfolio, in a constant learning without specialization, looking for his own way without discard anything.
The work of Astaroth (O.R.G.) is divided in several categories (you can view his recent works in Gallery). In a recent stage Astaroth (O.R.G.) is very interested in natural photography (wildlife and landscapes), but he likes other photographic subjects like architecture, urban, surreal and more.
