I love this city. I love every inch of every corner of every street. It was my first time there and I can not wait to go back. I'm literally searching for photography jobs there right now. The people, the coziness, the chaos, the nightlife, the fact that everyone speaks french more than they speak arabic. My friends and I were supposed to spend only three nights then move onto Casablanca as part of our whole Morocco experience, we cancelled Casablanca, I convinced them to stay in Marrakech a few more nights. Something about the chaotic-ness of it all just mesmerized me. From the nightlife to the snake charmers in the souk and from the exquisite 'tagine' dishes to the beautiful ancient architecture, Marrakech is a city I highly recommend. We got lost in-between the little alleyways for about 8hrs. one day and it's never boring. It's fascinating how every door you pass could be an entrance to a crack-house for all we know, maybe even an average house or a 5-star Riad, you'll never know till you knock. If you've got the stomach for adventure and sharp haggling skills, travel there and you won't regret it.
