Beth Arkwright

I first began photographing when I discovered I couldn't draw, but still wanted a creative outlet. A friend suggested I try photography, and so I began photographing horses mostly on a little compact camera I'd borrow from my dad. Nowadays I shoot on my own Nikon D800. I still enjoy photographing horses, but the majority of my work is focused on the natural world.

I am a graduate from Falmouth University where I studied Marine & Natural History Photography, and where I learnt to combine my passion for nature with a studio environment- this is where The Dog Project came from.

Thank you for looking at my page and comments are always welcome!
