Marc-Eric Kahle

I was born and raised in Germany I began early to enjoy photography due to my father and his passion for that. I learned to develop and make B&W Photos, even colored Photos at the local Photography Club. I even installed my own little B&W Lab in the basement. That was a lot of fun. My first SLR was the Minolta XD-7 with various Lenses. A Minolta X-700 followed and some smaller cameras. In 1999 I bought my first digital Camera (Mustek VDC 300) in 2000 my first Canon S10 which really made fantastic pictures and I still have that camera. Next was a Canon S50 with 5 Megapixel. A Canon S80 followed that camera which is also still in use. Before I actually bought my fantastic Canon EOS 550D i bought the small Canon SX210iS. It has 14x optical zoom, so I can zoom in pretty good. In darker scenarios (indoor, night) the camera has it's flaws, but thanks to manual programs you can work around that pretty good. At least you have a powerful pocketsize cam for spontaneous pics. With my Canon EOS 550D I am actually shooting a lot. It is great to use the possibility of different lenses and the even bigger variety of "designing" the pictures. Enjoy
