Cradle of Hindu Temple Architecture

On one my weekends, i happened to venture on a short journey to one of the UNESCO world heritage sites in India, Pattadakal and its sister towns Badami and Aihole. Most popularly known for the experimentation in temple architecture by the Chalukya Kings. On my short visit i got the chance to visit most of the temples at Pattadakal and Aihole and the cave temples at Badami.
