My love for still images blossomed when I was a young boy and was inspired by my father who as an architect, devoted some serious time to travel and street photography.
All I got to know for years was my compact 1932 leica II and a small pose-meter : that is where my ever growing passion for monochrome photography started.
After a long career as a linguist/tutor/translator, I realised, a few years ago, that I had been -as far as I could remember- at my happiest crafting photographs...and decided to take another leap of faith. It hasn't been without challenges and still is, but I am walking the path I want, quite simply.
I currently produce colour and monochrome imagery ; they both have their purpose in my work, but I feel my long term investment may shift more towards black and white fine art projects.
Time shall tell.
