Yūrakuchō 有楽町 - Red Lanterns and Narrow Alleys

Published August 9th, 2012

Yurakucho is a small area of Tokyo where businessmen come to eat yakitori and drink beer after work. It is close to Ginza and Tokyo station. There are many small bars and restaurants under the railway arches and down tight alleyways. It has changed very little since the early postwar period.
