My new project + My thoughts

Published September 11th, 2011

Since the beginning of this "Street Photography" journey, I felt the need to do a themed project related to it, to get some motivation and goal for my photos.

After seeing Elliott Erwit's photos about dogs, I couldn't resist to do a street photography set based only in dogs - their life in big cities, their relation with people, other dogs..

Dogs have a lot of photographic advantages compared to people - they aren't afraid of you (or your flash), they don't force you to delete their pictures, and you don't have to come up with any silly excuse like ‘’ I really think that your dog has a future in doggie fashion’’ or ‘’ its he’s fault, he tried to bite me’’!

I must say that I'm not a big fan of dogs, I own a guinea pig instead of a dog! But I'm really into this project.. let's see how this goes from now on!
