Chris Bergstrom

I'm a portrait photographer who runs a photography business in Tokyo, Japan called Bushido Photo, LLC. My style is anything and everything, but I really focus on portraits with studio lighting or off camera flash. I shoot on location and in the studio and enjoy creating interesting images for my clients. I have several self published instructional books and have taught hundreds of workshops on off camera lighting. My photography career started in 1988 and I have been perfecting this craft ever since. One word, experience.

I will say that I don't think that I'm "the best" photographer ever, but I have been honing my craft since 1988 and feel that I am good at what I do. I don't specialize in landscape photography, architecture or anything like that. I specialize in portrait photography and love to use strobes to capture different feelings in my photographs.

My goal is to teach a workshop on Creative Live all about creating a 1930's or 40's Hollywood style effect. I love George Hurrell's work and all of the other Hollywood Photographers from back then.
