I worked for 15 years as an editorial photographer in London back when nobody had heard of ‘digital’ and mobile phones were the size of a small suitcase. My clients included BBC Worldwide, IPC Media and The Sunday Times. These days I build websites to pay the bills but continue to take photos, albeit solely for my own pleasure. :)

The colour of the grass

I was someone about to put all my eggs from Flickr into the 500px basket. Then overnight things went awry. Gone is 'Activity', replaced by the tremendous victory of form over function named 'Flow'. The 'Wall' has also disappeared, but most disturbing are the tales of photographs being deleted by the 500px team for including questions relating to the changes.

I paid to be 'Awesome', but now have my eyes firmly glued back on Flickr to see what changes they're implementing in a few days time.
