I am a forest ecologist and homesteader dreaming & scheming of semi-retirement as a nature photographer. I live near the south shore of Lake Superior in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, USA. I photograph as a meditation on Nature, to expand my awareness of the infinite beauty that surrounds us, and to spread that awareness to others. Try viewing my photos by sets, which are organized by subjects like birds, flora, and water.
