I was born with spina bifida, and to most people that would be a death sentence, not for me. With all of the struggles which I've endured over the years, I've still have lived a great life. For over 20 years I worked as a chef working my way to sous chef, most recently at an exclusive country club in Hudson, Massachusetts. I would have reached my goal of becoming an executive chef someday, however, spina bifida somewhat derailed my dreams. This leads me to the second chapter of my life, I've always enjoyed photography and traded up from a point and shoot to a DSLR a Nikon D5000 to be exact. Recently I upgraded again to the Nikon D610, which I love. Even though my disability hampers my mobility, I still try to get out and shoot whenever i can. These days photography and writing are my passions.
