Charles Tôrres is a great admirer of modern music, urban life and technology, and always seeks to dilute such fascination in their work. Throughout his musical explorations, he has transcended limitations and genres, always aiming to create new trends and find new paths. He lives in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, along with his wife and artist too, Lígia Tôrres, which he weaves together with great projects and dreams.
The love of music emerged in childhood, influenced by his father, who is a musician (guitarist) and fan of funk, rock, soul, blues and retro electronic music. His mother (who is a dance teacher) helped him to further his musical studies in Oriental and ethnic styles, particularly classical Egyptian. In his early teenage years his uncle introduced him to what would later be the alloy, the "element X" of his music: the jazz. By putting everything in the pot, Charles, now multi-instrumentalist, boil their keyboards, not spare the percussion, makes your bass sweat and burn the processor of your computer to a melodic line sequencing machine. He written a little of everything. Have you done the soundtrack for plays, dance festivals, movies, jingles, commercials, games, presentations and even videos of disclosure of real estate development. And it won four awards for "Best Soundtrack" in Brazil and two abroad - Japan and Portugal. The music is in the blood from this artist. In fact, music is his own blood.
