My extensive travels to various countries including those along the East Coast of Africa, South America, Australia, New Zealand and Central Europe are what initially inspired me to take up photography in an effort to document everything I encountered. Photography seemed like the ideal medium and although my early enthusiasm led to some lack-lustre, out-of-focus shots using some nasty point-and-shoot camera (two of which were thankfully stolen from me during my travels), I soon learnt to harness my skills and have since enjoyed further developing myself in this art-form.
I focus primarily on travel, landscape and architecture. I particularly enjoy highlighting the often stark contrast between man-made features (e.g. buildings, infrastructure or industrial structures) and the surrounding landscape.
I love getting outdoors and I don't mind carrying all that heavy photographic equipment up steep slopes to get the shot I want. In the end, it's all part of the experience.
I hope you will enjoy some of my photography. Your comments are most appreciated.
