I've always been drawn to photography, both as a photographer and as an admirer of great imagery. In high school I took a black and white film photography class where we learned how to operate a camera and how to develop prints in a darkroom. I was never a big fan of the darkroom process though, as working with various chemicals and equipment didn't appeal to me much. I was (and still am) a computer geek. That's one of the reasons I am so drawn to digital photography. My darkroom is my computer.

I've owned many point-and-shoot cameras but it was only a few years ago that I decided that I wanted to take my photography to the next level. I purchased a high-end point-and-shoot with full manual control and pushed it to its limits, learning more and more about the technical aspects of photography as well as the compositional side.

Photography started to take a larger hold on my life at that point. I was thinking about it and using my camera on a daily basis, driving around town looking for new ways and new places to photograph. Finally I upgraded to a DSLR, bought a few lenses and that was it, I was hooked!

These days I spend my free time traveling all over California and neighboring states, exploring new places and coming back with some amazing images. Landscape photography is no longer a hobby for me; it's an obsession. I hope you enjoy my images as much as I enjoy making them.
