Christopher John was born and raised in Bucks County Pa. in 1960. He now resides in the oldest resort town in the US, a town call Pawleys Island, SC. Doing what he loves, shooting people on the beach. He also captures many beautiful landscapes that the Coastal South has to offer.
Since the day Christopher got a miniature spy camera from the back of a cereal box as a child, he has always been fascinated with photography and art in general. He is a graduate of the Art Institute of Philadelphia with a degree in specialized technology of Photography. Constantly studying the newest technologies that the digital world has to offer has enabled him to explore different artistic medium. Learning digital manipulation, painting, shading, blending and compositing has been his latest achievement. What drives him is the ability to manipulate and invent new ways of creating images. Going backwards and looking at old images and seeing new ones using new techniques,has been a real motivator. This continues to drive Christopher to use the vastness that the digital world has to offer "The possibilities of re-arranging pixels are endless, no pixels are safe."
