Birds that hum

For a couple of years now I have paid a bit more attention to the joys of watching and photographing hummingbirds. It is a challenge to capture birds whose wings flutter at over 50 times a second, who dart here and there, forward and back and who engaged in aerial combat moves at breakneck speed. I have found such joy in watching these antics and can do it for hours on end.

I would like to think that this is an on-going story with many chapters yet to be written. But I am OK with creating a living book that can grow over time.
