Born in Middlesbrough in the 60’s and grew up by the river Tees, right in the centre of Industry in the sixties and seventies. I spent a lot of my teen years wandering on the North Yorkshire Moors with a backpack and sleeping bag watching nature tick by.
I took up photography just as a tool to record my other hobbies of model making and sculpting but as photography often does it took over.
I went from the days of Film in either common 110 format and the onto 35mm format, I even had a go with medium format and in the process learned to develop my own images in a home darkroom.
Later on in life after a lot of wandering around I settled down and got hooked again on Digital Photography and the digital darkroom with all its wonderful possibility’s, so after a lot of jumping round the scene looking for a format and camera system I enjoyed I got fixed on Nikon and slowly crept up to the camera I currently use…. I do use other smaller cameras though!
Keep watching and always keep searching...
