Danny Brown

Danny Brown

Danny has been traipsing the Missouri Ozarks most of his life and his love for the outdoors led him to the University of Missouri School of Natural Resources (Master of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife) and the Missouri Department of Conservation where he has served as a biologist for 22 years. In 2006, Danny acquired his first Digital SLR so he could share some of his outdoor experiences with others. Since that day, his collection of images has been growing steadily. Danny's photos have been featured on the covers of Birdwatching, Missouri Conservationist, Outdoor Illinois and the Missouri Natural Events Calendar. He also has been published in Colorado Outdoors, St. Louis Magazine, National Wildlife and other magazines and he is a regular contributor to the Ducks Unlimited Calendar. The newly-released National Geographic's Backyard Guide to Birds of North America features one of Danny's pileated woodpecker images. Danny and his wife, Joyce, live on 60 acres in Union, Missouri where he captures many of his wildlife images. Contact Danny at
