For a good time now I've been living a nomadic lifestyle. Working as a seasonal wildland firefighter for several years has kept me in a constant state of motion, bouncing my way from the western states in the summers back home to the midwest, a year in Hawaii, stints in Costa Rica and New Zealand...but I digress. During this period I have developed an intense passion for photography. At first it simply served as a way of documenting my travels, but over the years it has developed into a means of artistic expression. I am in a constant state of motion, and my camera is never far from my side when the next great opportunity arises. Photography, like all forms of art, provides for infinite avenues of exploration. Each new day and situation provides an opportunity to capture something that has never happened before and will never occur again.
