David Arraez

Born in France in 1963 and after a childhood between France, England and Venezuela, a Kodak Instamatic offered by my godfather at the age of 9 triggered my passion for photography.

At the age of 16, I began my career as a part-time freelance photographer at the Taller fotográfico Oreja.

I am exhibit for the first time "Genesis de Una Imagen" in 1982 at the Alliance Française de Barquisimeto and "Imagenes" in Caracas, in 1983.

In 1984, I obtained the third prize at the Photographs Alvaro de Roson awards and in 1985, the first and second prize for the same awards.

Just before my 22nd birthday, I put an end to electronic engineering studies to finally devote myself entirely to photography ...

In 1986, graduated from the City & Guilds of London Institute of Southend College of General Photography (East Anglian Diploma in Design Photography), I began a job as an assistant for various photographers in London and Paris in advertising, architecture, editorial and beauty.

In 1990, I establish myself as a freelance photographer in Paris and by the end of 1998 I moved to Normandy

I specialise in Architecture, Food, Advertising, Beauty and Hairstyle moving ever closer to the arts.
