Deb DeKoff

I began shooting when I was in high school as a member of yearbook and literary magazine staffs. I interned for a tiny town newspaper, learning darkroom, and there, I fell in love with black and white photography. For years, I just shot whatever, whenever, enjoying photography for myself - sharing photos with family and friends. About 2 years ago, I decided to take a leap and persue photography with more passion - and jumped in by upping my equipment to a D700. Slowly, I've purchased the glass I needed and wanted. I spend much time shooting - sometimes just to shoot. I give myself "assignments" - and "tasks". When not taking photos, I am a full time middle school teacher. How lucky can one get, doing two things she loves?

I don't know if I have a style, or specialty, as I feel I am still learning (okay, so as an educator, that is easy to understand!) However, I am known as a Bar and Bat Mitzvah photographer - in Park City, Utah.
