I am geographer, graduate at the University of the Andes (Merida, Venezuela), with special interest in biogeography, environmental conservation and culture. I am author of numerous scientific and popular publications. Likewise, I am member of several organisations, including the World Conservation Union (IUCN) and the Mountain Forum.
For several years I have carried out a series of projects focused on natural history and conservation of several threatened species, including spectacled bear, torrent duck and lowland tapir. My interest in wildlife conservation has led me to work with renowned organisations such as, National Geographic Society, BBC, NHK from Japan and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), among others.
I have a special interest in wildlife art and photography. My artworks (illustrations and photographs) have been shown in several public exhibits and publications, including the Red Data Book of the Venezuelan Fauna and the Book: Los Rostros de la Extinción (Faces of the Extinction). All my photos are available for multiple purposes, especially for publishing. If you are interested in to get copies and use permissions, don't hesitate in to contact me (e-mail: email@example.com). The payment of royalties is necessary, but the fees are pretty cheap. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
