For work I regularly visit Putrajaya, Cyberjaya and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). From the first glimpse on Putrajaya from hundreds of meters above the ground while flying to KLIA, I realized it was a special place. So many beautiful bridges and buildings in modern and old styles all cramped together around an artificial lake. Very nice during the day, amazing during sunrise and sunset but also stunning after sunset when most bridges and buildings are beautiful light up (these tend to be turned down after approximately 23:30).
I hope to visit this magical place many more times!

The clock project was actually born out of boredom as my choice between being creative or watching boring tv (not a very difficult decision). However, going out in the late evening wasn't very appealing either as we were having some light rains. So I decided to grab an object and see if could create some nice photo's.
Running through the house I stumbled on this old 'Jaz' clock by the Compagnie Industrielle de Mécanique Horlogère that, according to this website (http://jsvega.free.fr/revmetal14.html), was produced in the 1920's. It makes a good object for this type of little project. In fact I had so much fun that I decided to bring it to work the next day and asked my colleagues (Eddi Wabnitz, vincentkaspers, Frits Hendriks) do the same. So check out their pictures of the very same clock too:
