INDIA is a big country. It is a federal union of states comprising twenty-eight states and seven union territories. In some parts it receives high rainfall, in some parts it has a desert.One side it has Himalaya and other three sides covered by see. Due to varying altitude and latitude and have different weathers all over the country, it supports all type of vegetation. For a rich bio diversity it has rich heritage of flora and fauna.
Here, in India it has a huge number of different types of birds. Depending upon their habitat and food habit, the size, colors varies. Here I am going to give you the flavor of different types of birds available(very partially) in three states e.g. West Bengal, Sikkim and Orissa in the Indian sub-continent.
