The story of the bee in the lavender farm

Published May 14th, 2012

We visited a lavender farm on a hot sunny beautiful day in southern california a few months back. The lavender farm was stunning but what caught my eye was this bee, that I was intent to capture. I perched myself on my knees on the dirt streets by the lavender farm, and tried to capture the bee - which turned out harder than I thought. As soon as I would focus and get ready to click, it would fly away. No matter that the setting, nothing was faster than the bee's curiosity and need to go from one flower to another faster than I could focus and shoot.
