When I first got interested in photography most cameras were manual exposure only and all of them were manual focus. There was very few zoom lenses and the ones available were mediocre quality. High speed film was 400 ISO although clients/publishers usually wanted shots on Kodachrome (25 or 64 ISO).
And sometimes I miss those days, if it wasn't so difficult finding quality processing for transparency film nowadays I'd resurrect my manual focus 35mm film cameras, prime lenses and start shooting Velvia at 40 ISO again although I'd probably cheat a bit and use aperture priority.
