My recent trip to Rome was our 25th wedding anniversary trip; therefore, it wasn't photography centric. But my wife is a wonderful lady and put up with my far too often diversions. This was a good example of her patience with me. I really wanted to get this photo of the National French Academy reflected in a bowl fountain. Unfortunately, there were two people standing at the front door and wouldn't move. I stood there for several minutes lining up the shot but they still wouldn't move on. Of course during this time, my wife was waiting for me to take my photo so we could move on to our next destination. Finally, the people moved on and I was able to take the photo. After I finished I apologized to my wife for taking so long, and all she said was, "did you get a good shot"?
