It all started with my father letting me take pictures on his Minolta, 35mm Film Camera from a young age of 12. He bought a set of lenses as he went on and showed me what to look for when taking pictures. From there, I had a few film Camera's untill they all broke and I had none, for years. Hey ho, ended up in UK, made a friend that told me about a camera for sale. Got that, and off we went to shoot pictures together. Since then, he tought me alot of things and Im just learning more and experimenting more as I go along. POV's and all that ISO and shutter stuff.
Id like to say Im a purist and just bump colours and contrast until it looks like what I think it looked like at the time of the picture, although this is not a rule of thumb. So Im, a half a purist. Like having a bike that doesnt have all the electronic gadgets, yet it has fuel Injection. If that makes sense...not sure. Moving on.
In the end, photography, is something I enjoy and it reminds of the good times with my father that is not with me anymore. Just like fishing. :)
I will always miss him.
For now, I aim, shoot and post in memory of him and the enjoyment I have with what he passed on to me many moons ago.
Hope you enjoy what I post too :)
